Innovation Redefined- A Series Of Insightful Talks

Get insights from some of the top entrepreneurial stories of last decade, a series of insightful talks by successful innovators across India. An exclusive inspirational session of E-Summit' 10 where each talk will focus on a particular innovation that is worth spreading among aspiring entrepreneurs.

Mentoring Sessions:

Esummit'10 brings one to one exclusive mentoring sessions for aspiring entrepreneurs which ensures maximum substance and purpose for the participants. Mentoring endorses the absolute need of a mechanism through which guidance and advice from senior entrepreneurs and professionals can be passed gainfully and efficiently to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Structure:

  • Each mentoring slot will be for 45 minutes.
  • There will be six mentoring slots (2 in morning and 4 in afternoon), each team will be given a maximum of 2 slots.

Who can participate?
  • All the registrants of E-Summit'10 only can participate in mentoring. We would be selecting only a few applicants based on their application.
  • Participants shortlisted for mentoring will be contacted by e-mail.(In case of teams, each team member must be registered for E-Summit'10)

Vulture's Nest

Vulture's Nest is a unique initiative taken by The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay. Set in a reality show format,which will be aired on ET Now, the participants get an opportunity to pitch in front of investors about their startup. The best will be selected from the regional stages for the finals at The Entrepreneurship Summit 2010 where they will get exposure to funding opportunities from top Venture Capitalists. Startup Showcasing

Startup Showcasing is a exclusive initiative that aims to provide visibility to some of the most exciting and innovative start-ups by showcasing them at E-Summit. It allows startups to portray an outlined description of their product/service to the wide range of attendees at E-Summit, including Venture Capitalists, aspiring & budding Entrepreneurs, Industrialists, Working Professionals, Students and Media Houses. It also creates the opportunity for participating startups to get valuable feedback from industry veterans, which could go a long way in building world class products and services.

Other benefits include finding appropriate team members, forging parterships and networking. It also serves as a platform of motivation and valuable learning for aspiring entrepreneurs.

In addition, Startup Showcasing creates opportunities for startups to procure interested persons for internship as well as full-time employment, thus giving them a chance to get exposed to first hand entrepreneurial experience. It will thus illustrate the current innovation scenario and assist in promoting entrepreneurship.

Eureka! 09 Finals

Eureka! 2009 , the largest business plan competition in Asia is in its 11th edition this year. The unique competition structure studded with intensive and extensive mentoring is what sets itself apart. Eureka! has become the role model for such competitions across India.

After months of thorough mentoring , fine tuning and judging, the top ten teams will battle it out for the top spots at the Eureka! 2009 finals by pitching in front of an esteemed jury panel. Watch out for India's next big enterprises in Eureka! 2009 finals at the Entrepreneurship Summit 2010.

Global Conference of E-cells 2010

Global Conference of E-cells 2010 (GC) is a significant step towards understanding and collaborating with fellow Entrepreneurship Cells in a better way. In this era of globalization, GC presents the perfect opportunity for E-cells to come together on one platform, so as to align their activities, co-operate and collaborate with each other. It aims to help E-cells understand each other's needs, markets, people and opportunities more clearly, and thus realize their prime and ultimate objective of promoting entrepreneurship.

Key Agenda

GC aims to bridge the gap between the established E-cells and growing ones through the creation of a pan-India network of entrepreneurship promoting bodies. The idea is to set up established e-cells as mentors over growing e-cells, so that the expertise & experience of the established genre can be passed to the domain of growing E-cells, thus allowing for the developing to be developed. The key purpose of the conference is to debate on the validation of the idea, define the execution model and discuss major areas to be worked upon through the subsequent collaboration.

Under the patronization and monitorship of NEN, the Entrpereneurship Cell, IIT Bombay proudly hosts GC as the launch to NEN E-week, with the motive to promote collaboration among entrepreneurship supporting bodies
